- Artist Susan Sjoberg lives in the mountains of Southern California. Working primarily in watercolor and acrylic, she paints landscape, still life and nature studies in a contemporary realist style. A naturalist at heart, her artwork is profoundly influenced by the disciplines of careful observation and accuracy required in nature study. Regardless of subject matter, her goal in each painting is to evoke a sense of peace and a sharpened awareness of the transcendent beauty found in creation.
