Here is a small watercolor sketch of the outlook on the way up the mountain. Layers and layers of pine and oak and the distant mountains are faintly purple.

- Artist Susan Sjoberg lives in the mountains of Southern California. Working primarily in watercolor and acrylic, she paints landscape, still life and nature studies in a contemporary realist style. A naturalist at heart, her artwork is profoundly influenced by the disciplines of careful observation and accuracy required in nature study.
